A. We are based in Bingley, West Yorkshire and travel extensively through Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria and the Lake District. We are happy to travel further afield and have worked as far as London before.

A. Typical Type is run by Kerrie & Barry, a (soon to be!) husband and wife team. We have one other full time member of staff too.

A. While we are very lucky to work at some fabulous regular venues we are always happy to consider opportunities to work at somewhere new! We’ve been around a while now – there’s a good chance we’ve come across your venue before.

A. No! We can provide for corporate events, birthdays or any event! We’ve even done some TV work!

A. Send us an email, or social media message – we will get back to you as soon as we possibly can.

A. This is a tricky one to answer – if your wedding is in high season (May-September) sooner the better is the answer. We do always however try our best to accommodate any last minute requests.

A. It’s always best to let the venue know Typical Type are providing for your day. We do however contact your venue directly to arrange access for drop off and collection – it’s one less thing for you to do!

A. We do ask for a non refundable booking fee of £150 to secure your booking. Any remaining balance is due 8 weeks prior to your day.

A. Our Company is fully ensured for Public and Employer’s liability. Our electrical equipment is PAT tested annually. A copy of our insurance certificates are available on request.

A. We generally do not offer to sell any of our hire items. We are happy however to look at a one of commission on a case for case basis. Just get in touch.
