Green backdrop for wedding

We are often asked to join photo shoots, but unless we organise it we rarely say yes.  Unless some of the best wedding suppliers around are involved. So, when we heard Red Floral Architecture and Tiree Dawson Photography were involved in this shoot at Abbey House it was a no brainer. Imagine how excited we were when we got there and the beautiful India was modelling – we had already spoken to India about possibly modelling for a shoot we had organised, but sadly it didn’t work out – but here she was.  I swear she was made for Film Noir.

Two distinct looks were created by the Red Floral team.  1st a blossom filled, pink and white show stopper of a room, filled with tealights for the downstairs function room.  And secondly, a softer, spring like look in the upstairs ceremony room.  This room was switched from a ceremony lay out to a dining lay out, showcasing how it would look once you become a married couple.  The rose trees on plinths looked amazing leading down to our green grass backdrop with our latest quote on it.

This dress – sigh.  India’s dresses were supplied by The White Closet, whilst her darling husband, Tom, wore his own suit.  Yep – they are a REAL couple. And, it turns out, not only are they rather beautiful, but they are hilariously funny too. Just our kind of people.

OK..  If you are on a diet skip past the next photos.  Go on – shoo. However, if you want to marvel at the incredible icing skills of Suzanne from The Frostery, now is your chance. This lady knows her royal from her fondant, that is for sure.

Don’t forget to click on the names of the suppliers to be taken to their websites – you wont be disappointed.  Thank you to Yasmin from Abbey House for asking us along, we had a lovely day exploring the hotel.  We hope to be back soon.
